Fill Me Up Green Smoothie
Smoothies are one of my five food groups. They are quick to make, provide instant energy and knock out my Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vegetables at one time. In addition, this recipe provides one of four servings of fruit and half of my recommended daily protein intake.
The color is bright, the taste is sweet and your kids will love it. (No joke!) I can’t think of a better way to start the day or to hold you over until dinner. I also add 2 tablespoons of flax seed oil and 1 tablespoon of virgin coconut oil to the mix for maximum nutrition.
